The Line Up
Welcome to the site. Click the writers' archives below to see their full back-catalogue of football musings or browse the tabs above to see all that's on offer from the team. Our writers go down easily, tap in from close range, clear off the line, hassle the goalkeeper at corners and mark the near and far posts. And it all happens right here, in the Six Yard Box.

Tom Hayward:Tom is essentially a 78 year old man stuck inside a terrified and world-weary young body. Thus his attitude towards football alters almost hourly, which is often evident in the bile-filled rants that he submits to written word. As well as the game itself, Tom also loves to analyse every single pundit there currently is on television. |

Chuck Givens:Chuck could be like any American, but he's not. For the longest time, he didn't give football another thought. After realizing the error of his ways, he wised up to the world's most popular sport and has since been a vocal supporter of the game domestically. He has strong opinions on how the game is portrayed and grown in the States. Since his hometown club isn't in the domestic first division (yet), he supports all of Major League Soccer. |

Richard Joy:“If in doubt, kick it out” - The mantra Richard was taught as a child, which has been proven to be complete bullshit in the modern game. Hence, Richard is bitter, incisive, and in love with contemporary football. Expect detailed coverage, tactical vision and in-depth monitoring of players’ hair and general behaviour. |

Chris Kirby:Chris has owned a Tottenham season ticket for longer than is healthy. Despite only being in his late twenties, he longs for ‘the good old days’ when newly promoted sides could challenge for a top 4 finish, international tournaments were exciting and Alan Smith didn’t ruin football matches with his punditry. |
'The Six Yard Box cannot accept any responsibility for their words or actions. Not to be taken before 9pm. The life jackets are situated above your heads. Any reference made to Martin Keown being a murderer are probably mostly ficticious. Always read the label.'
